Hike Around the Children's Railway

On one of Hungary's national holidays, Tuesday, 15th March 2011 the traditional Hike Around the Children's Railway is going to take place again.

The route is going to be set from Szechenyi-hegy Station to the Children's Railway Community Building in Huvosvolgy. It will be 20 kilometres long which is expected to be completed in under seven hours' time. The route is going to pass through every station of the railway line and by most places of interest in the vicinity. Among them the Erzsebet Lookout Tower on Janos-hegy, the highest point of terrain in Budapest, and the Normafa slopes, a popular venue of winter sports. >>More informations<<
