LocomotivesMD-40The typical locomotives of the railway are MD-40s made by Mining Engine Works of Pálfalva (Salgótarján) in the 50ies. These locos are usually have 4-cylinder, 4-cycle, pre-combustion engine type D-413 (often replaced by more powerful D-414). The transmission is mechanic, with three gears and cone-wheel reverser.
