Mk48 2028 is transported to Cigánd

It had been out of operation for ages before its withdrawn on 10.01.2007. MÁV has sold it to a company owned by the local authority of Cigánd. This is a small town in northern Hungary; it lies in front of Dombrád on the right bank of the river Tisza. Cigánd could be reached by a narrow gauge railway till 1976: Sárospatak-Zemplénagárd line crossed the city which was the part of the huge Bodrogközi-Hegyköz narrow gauge system. The local authority plans to exhibit this loco next year in the city center. They should buy a "Bax" type passenger coach behind the old engine soon.
