Celebration is cancelled in Gemenc

Gemenc Zrt. cancelled the celebration of the narrow gauge railway of Gemenc (15.09.2007) because of the flood of river Danube.

The flood of Danube will be culminated at Baja in Friday when the level of the river will be at 810 cms. Most of thr rails on the narrow gauge railway are flooded when the level of the river is at 700 cms. It is predicted that 90% of the railway will be under water on Saturday so no traffic will be available next weekend. This is the reason of cancelling the celebration.
