Steam days in Debrecen

The steam locomotive of Zsuzsi railway in Debrecen will be heated on 17-18.11.2007. A special photo-trip is organised on 17.11.2007, two passenger train run with the steam locomotive on 18.11.2007. A trip with an old tram is possible on 18.11.2007.

The first program is going to include two trains on Saturday, 17.11.2007. The first one is going to contain the Gebus diesel locomotive and two Bax passenger coaches. The second one is going to run with the railways steam locomotive (394,023) and two freight waggons. Trains start at 10.00 from Debrecen and they return at about 15.00. The program is going to contain several stops for taking pictures.
Participation fee is 1300 HUF/person (about 5 Euro).
Two extra passenger trains run with steam locomotive on Sunday, 18.11.2007. Departures from Debrecen are at 9.00 and 13.00, return from Hármashegyalja at 11.00 and 15.00. Participation fee is 1300 HUF/person.
A ride is organised by the tram nr. 260 in Debrecen on Sunday, 18.11.2007. This coach is origined from Budapest but it was transported to Amsterdam in the early 80s. It returned to Debrecen in 2005. It was reconstructed like the old trams of Debrecen (none of them were saved). The ride will start at 10.15 from the depot. Participation fee is 1000 HUF/person.
